Ta-Da

I did it again, I disappeared & then re-appeared. Ok, I admit, I have got to be the worst blogger of all time! It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged & as usual I’m going to try to get better at keeping up with this, don‘t roll your eyes at me, I mean it this time, I have a plan!  My plan is to pretty much write several months worth of blog posts & then just schedule them  to post on their own &  then I only have to write every few months… ok maybe not, however I do plan on having some pre-written posts set aside so on days when I can’t blog or can’t think of anything to write about I can just pull from my stash, we’ll see how this plan will work but just don't hold your breath, I can't have you passing out on me.

Since my last blog post I still haven't had a yard sale, my sleeping schedule has gotten worse (can you say vampire), & a new season of Revenge has started! In other news my little brother is going to be a daddy & I'm soo happy & excited for them, & for me cause that means I'm aunt Jordan! :) My husband is now volunteer firefighter & is certified in rapid intervention. I am so proud of him & all his hard work, he is actually at a training class at the fire department as I type this.

Isn't he a hottie ;)

I got out of Avon due to spending more money than I was making, I still LOVE their products & may re-join one day but the temptation to shop was just more than I could handle.  I'm now working in network marketing for 3 different companies, Instant Rewards, Infinity Downline, & Wake Up Now. I love all 3 companies & I'm loving being able to make money from home. If you want to know more about any of the companies I work for you can go to my website at SubstantialMoney.com.

Speaking of work I suppose I better go get some done :)

I know it's not Monday but I have a lot of "song addictions" to make up for so I leave you with this...

Happies & Crappies

Hey guys, today I'm linking up with Stephanie from Vintage Modern Wife for Happies & Crappies!

Happies

1. My little brother got engaged & I'm super excited that I'm getting a sister!

2. My husband has tomorrow off! He doesn't get many weekends off so on the rare occasion that he gets a Saturday or a Sunday off we usually have a hard time deciding what to do but I know that no matter what we choose it will be fun & relaxing.

3. I'm almost finished with the website for Boutique 21:21! All I have left is the "About me" section (always the hardest part).

Crappies

1.  This season of Revenge is over & of course the last episode always leaves ya hanging waiting for more.

2. My sleeping schedule has been WAY out of wack, I'm talking not falling asleep till 7am & sleeping till 2 pm, I feel nocturnal & it's gotta stop.

3. I have been trying to have a yard sale for the past 2 weekends, the weather man had called for storms both last weekend & this weekend so I held off, Last weekend there was no rain till late evening & so far there has been so ran this weekend (I totally could have had a yard sale this morning) oh well, maybe next weekend.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

Here I go, I have once again neglected my blog (I'm getting really bad at this).
On the plus side, I have lots to tell you all about! My last post I told you all about my desire to put my craftiness to work & I did just that. I made a few hanging letters & I also started making flower hair clips to sell in my online boutique.

Aren't they pretty?

After all kinds of searching for ideas & racking my brain I finally came up with a name for my boutique,  I came across Matthew 21:21
"Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done."
& Boutique 21:21 was born.

On top of the boutique I have also started selling Avon & Mark. I'm obsessed with their products & I plan on doing some reviews here on my blog.

In other news, I no longer work at my retail job! (Yay!)
but I need to get my rear in gear if I want to be able to make it as a full time photographer / Avon & Mark. rep / boutique owner. It's a little scary but also super exciting :)

I've got lots of big plans & maybe from now on I'll be better at keeping you all in the loop. I plan to make blogging part of my daily routine (which I'm working on) so you should be seeing a lot more of me :)

In case any of you are interested in showing your support here are all my links...
Boutique 21:21 website coming soon
(That's a lot of links, I know)

Oh & on a side note, I'm giving away this flower clip!

Here I Go Again, Falling Off The Wagon

I have once again let my procrastination get the best of me. I guess we'll just call it an unexpected week off from blogging, the biggest reason is that my lovely little Verizon Jetpack was all out of GB & I'm not a huge fan of the Blogger app.

Anyway... I went to Hobby Lobby today & decided that I seriously need to start putting my craftiness to work, I've decided to start a facebook page to sell my crafts & refurbished furniture & such, now I just need a name!

One of the things I'll be making is hanging letters, I don't have one put together yet but here's some of my supplies that I bought today.

Oh & I also scored this cute stamp for cheap!

I can't wait to get started.
If you have any name ideas leave them in the comments :)

I Thought It Was Supposed To Be Spring!

It's been snowing outside all day & I'm sitting here freezing my bootay off! What happened to the nice warm weather?
My husband & I were both supposed to work today but had to call out due to slick roads, I planned on spending my extra time at home cleaning & working out but so far I have sat in front of the computer (procrastination at it's finest).

I'm all caught up on Chicago Fire (yay!) & can't wait till the next episode! For those of you who are fans of the show I have to say that I'm seriously hoping Severide says yes to Shay!
Now it's time to get caught up on Revenge!

It seems like their were a couple things that I thought about throughout the day to blog about & of course I seem to have forgotten them (maybe time to get a notebook?) I suppose if I think of it again I can always write another post.

Now that my hubby has quit hogging the TV (he's a Madden addict) I suppose I will actually go workout now... Zumba here I come!

Zumba, Smoothies & Weight Watchers

So I have been trying doing horribly at trying to lose weight & get healthier, I'M a member of Weight Watchers online, which is an awesome program when I actually do it. Starting today I'M getting serious, I woke up, did some Zumba & then made myself a yummy & nutritious smoothie, I used Muscle Milk in it & that was 5 WW points but since I split the smoothie with my hubby I counted it as 3, I'M gonna try to make smart choices the rest of my day. One of these days (when I get up the courage ) I will post an updated pictures of myself (my profile picture is old), along with my weight. I want to share my journey to getting healthier with you. So anyway, I need to get to work now. Bye Ya'll

High Five For Friday

 photo H54Fbutton-triangle_zps678b65ba.jpg

This is my first time joining in on  High Five for Friday, I've heard it's a lot of fun so I thought I'd try it!
I'm linking up with Lauren from At My Grey Desk. You should too!

1. My business card holder that I made out of duck tape :)  I bought mini business cards from Moo.com (which I love!) but my old business card holder was too big, I just happened to have some duck tape laying around and Ta-Da!

2.   The sunshine! It's still actually pretty cool (ok, cold) here in Tn. but today the sun was shining & it was nice & warm out (it didn't last very long though).

3. My kitty, Dutchess, I love this kitty so much, she is the most snuggliest (is that a word?) kitty I have ever seen.   She's also a good source of entertainment :)

4.  Mini sample of the hazelnut frappuccino from Starbucks (my new favorite, yummo!)

5.  My all time new favorite nail polish, I'm obsessed with teal & this nail polish is just perfect!

Chicago Fire & Other TV Obsessions

For those of you that don't know, we have been without cable for awhile now, it got to be too expensive & we had to cut back somewhere so sadly the cable & internet had to go, the lack of internet only lasted so long before we broke down & got a Verizon Jetpack, it's kind of a nifty little thing but I don't recommend it as your sole source of internet (5GB a month doesn't last very long), now with lack of cable & limited internet it didn't take us long to watch every single DVD we had in our house, & just about the time I started to go crazy without anything new to watch I remembered that my cell phone (which still has unlimited data) has HDMI mirror mode, & that we could watch Netflix on the TV through my phone, we were pretty excited about having new things to watch BUT that didn't fix the problem of missing our TV show obsessions.

Now the biggest obsession in our house right now is Chicago Fire & of course we've missed a bunch of episodes, my cousin Krista (from Chaotic Thoughts with Krista) is also a Chicago Fire addict & she had sent me episode 7 through 10 on dvd, we were so excited that we watched them all in one night & then we were back to being without.

Last night I decided I couldn't stand it anymore & that I had to find a way to watch it, so I started searching & found that I could watch all the episodes on Hulu Plus, so I downloaded Hulu Plus to my phone, hooked it to the tv & watched me some Chicago Fire, I'm super excited to get caught back up, & I know Krista is excited about it too, she's hoping I''ll be caught up before next weeks episode so she'll actually be able to talk to me about it, because being the good cousin she is, has resisted the urge to tell me all about the episodes every week.

I'm also pretty excited to get back to watching Revenge (our other obsession), & a few other shows I love like Smash, & Betty White's Off Their Rockers, & thanks to Netflix we also have gotten into watching Emergency (Yes, the one from the 70's, lol)
I also think I may start watching Nashville, Heros, & 1600 Penn. (I'm sure I'll find more shows too)

The only shows Hulu Plus doesn't have that bums me out is The Big Bang Theory & Duck Dynasty (they really should get those)

Leave a comment & let me know what shows your obsessed with :)

Mexican Shepherds Pie

Ok, I promised you guys a recipe yesterday so here it is...
It's one of my absolute favorite meals,  my mom makes it for me every time I visit home (because mine never taste the same as it does when she makes it)

I don't have exact measurements for this recipe (I know, I'm horrible) but I promise it's super easy.

First you need ground beef (I usually use about a pound or so), brown it in the skillet with taco seasoning.
Spread that out in the bottom of a baking dish (about a 9 x 13 is good)
Open a can of corn & spread that on top of the ground beef.
Now make some mashed potatoes, you can use real potatoes or you can use the flaky kind, whatever you prefer.

Now that your mashed potatoes are made, spread those out on top of the corn.
The final touch is cheese, I prefer lots of it, usually the Mexican blend, put a nice layer on top of the mashed potatoes.

Now stick it in the oven (maybe at 350?) since everything is already cooked you just need it in there long enough to heat up & melt that delicious gooey cheese.

Once your Mexican shepherds pie is all hot & cheesy take it out of the oven & cut into squares.

I usually buy those round hard tortilla shells
& place the piece of shepherds pie on top, add a little hot sauce & you have the best comfort food ever!

I thought for sure I had a picture of the finished dish (cause I always take photos of food) but I don't :/

Hello Again...

I know it's been a looong time, I've gotten on here a few times & started to type out a blog post but then got distracted. I've been a busy girl lately, on top of working my retail job I've also gotten involved in a work from home opportunity called Instant Rewards, so far it's not really going anywhere but I've seen others make decent money from it so for now I will continue to press on. I also got my business license at the beginning of this month so my photography business is now legit :) My goal is that by the end of this year I will be able to quit my job in retail & work from home, I'm also planning on getting my hands into a few other things, one of which is refurbishing furniture & selling it (something I've been wanting to do for awhile now). I need to get my rear end in gear if I want to be a work from home guru, I'll keep you all updated on my progress. Another thing that has happened in our household is that my husband became a volunteer firefighter, he loves it & is studying hard to try & get a job as a paid firefighter, I'm super proud of him!
You would think I would have more to tell you seeing as how it's been so long but theirs not been much going on, I will try to get on here later today & post some yummy recipes & anything else I may think of :)

For now I will leave you with my current song addiction...

Gotta love that truck ;)
